Blacklake Lodge Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire
This home, the staff and management offers everything the previous home my mother lived in did not. It is clean, warm, quiet and smells nice. The staff and management are friendly, caring and calm with the residents. The food quality has a well deserved five star rating. All the rooms are bright, clean and the four communal areas have quality furniture with easy access on the same floor level. The exterior is attractive with large parking area and a huge pool with seating, also large maintained gardens. This home is run at an excellent level and inspires confidence.

I think the residents are looked after very well. The care home is kept very nice and clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It is nice for visitors to have a member of staff in the T.V lounge, sometimes residents do have a fall or wander off.

Staff are excellent. Many of them have been there for many years so it is like coming into your own home. My only concern is clothes go missing but found again at a later date. No problems otherwise.

St Pauls Care Centre Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire
Mum is 96 and was admitted to St Pauls to receive palliative care. This was our first experience of a nursing home and we were uncertain about what to expect. We are delighted with the care mum is receiving at St Pauls! We could not have wished for a nicer or safer environment for mum, we would definitely recommend St Pauls to other families looking for a good nursing home.

Rivelin Care Home Cleethorpes, North East Lincolnshire
last year my 97 year old mother , Maud, was taken in by the Rivelin Care Home after a spell in hospital. She could no longer look after herself. I was a bit apprehensive at first because of the bad press some homes attracted. I did not need to worry as the care my mother has received since she has been here from Sharron and her dedicated team of nurses and carers has been outstanding. I have peace of mind and she is in the best place she could be and I highly recommend it.

Stratton House Burnham-on-Sea, Somerset
The happy atmosphere, family and open house for visitors is felt immediately. My mum died 12th January, I slept beside her for two nights. She had a (just in case box) prescribed by the doctor, the Saturday before she died. A calm and peaceful dignified death. She was in Stratton for over six years and fairly fit until last summer, she broke her hip after a fall, recovered well but never really walked again. I have only prise for the staff.

The Croft Wolverhampton, West Midlands
During the time my mother was at The Croft she received excellent care and support. The croft became her "home" and "family" and both my brother and I came to feel this too. Staff were always professional but friendly and compassionate. Mum sadly passed away mid-October but the staff were excellent in the last few days, so caring and kind. If we had to do it all again The Croft would be our first choice.

The Croft Wolverhampton, West Midlands
The Croft residential home in Castlecroft is excellent. The care and love given to all residents is second to none. The carers treat everyone as if they are their parents. My mother lived in The Croft for 2 years and was superbly looked after, sadly she passed away in December 2014. Even at that sad time the staff were all there for us and especially my mother. When you enter The Croft you feel at home, a real home, staff cater for any needs the residents may have. My recommendation to anyone who reads this is "The Croft cares".

The Croft Wolverhampton, West Midlands
My mother has been a resident at The Croft for 6 years, she is almost 96. She has always received exemplary care. The care staff treat her with great dignity and kindness. The home is spotlessly clean, tastefully furnished, fresh flowers, linen tablecloths. The food is varied, home cooked and cater for each residents' tastes. The garden, hanging baskets etc., add to the delight of the home. Varied activities on offer. Visitors are welcomed at any time.

Morel Court Penarth, Vale of Glamorgan
I would recommend any friend of mine (and have already done so) to apply for a place here, for it is 'next door to being at home'> After being here for 11 months I have never heard any member of staff arguing, being bad tempered or impatient with any resident. Their patience is quite unbelievable. our manageress handles ones problems kindly and straight away and she has made many improvements for us. Our Chaplain, Secretary, Volunteers and maintenance man all combine to make Morel Court a happy place to live.

Autumn House Barnsley, South Yorkshire
After viewing several nursing homes, Autumn House stood out for the care, consideration, understanding and thoughtfulness that was being offered to its residents. Everyone is kind and welcoming, the wishes of every individual are taken into account and the staff go above and beyond to ensure their welfare is their utmost priority. The atmosphere of the home is very warm and loving, I have always felt welcome to visit, no matter what the time of day. The rehabilitation support has been and continues to be incredible. This is so important when you place the care of your loved one in the hands of others. The Manger, Nursing staff and the caring staff work tirelessly, with genuine love, care and passion in their hearts, I feel very lucky to have been able to get mum in Autumn House as I know her every need is cared for and her wishes taken into account and that she is respected as an individual. I have had experience of other nursing homes in the past and never have I seen or felt as much appreciation as I do for Autumn House. This place is totally unique and a one off. Thank you for everything you all do.
