Lakeside Nursing & Residential Home Wigan, Greater Manchester
Posted: 5 hours ago by Miriam B (Daughter of Resident)
My mum has been in Lakeside for two and a half years. She has a lot of medical problems and because there are nurses, these are dealt with quickly. It is a beautiful care home in its own grounds and Worthington Lakes are at the bottom of the garden. Her care is excellent, second to none. The staff are friendly and caring and keep you informed about your family. Management is excellent and there is a very comfortable and friendly atmosphere. I am so lucky to have found a care home that I feel happy to have my mum living there.

Coxwell Hall & Mews Nursing Home Faringdon, Oxfordshire
Posted: 6 hours ago by Susan W (Daughter of Resident)
As a specialist care home for Dementia Coxwell has particularly challenging residents and their dementia, often very advanced and taking many different forms. The everyday care is resident not task based and follows the butterfly model. The staff are just fantastic, well trained, caring, supportive and welcoming to residents and relatives alike. Everyone is seen as part of one big family. Having experience of a few homes I can say Coxwell is tops for dementia care.

Sheraton Court Hartlepool, Cleveland & Teesside
Posted: 6 hours ago by Peter S (Son of Resident)
Is has been a very traumatic time for our family to reconcile the situation with our mother, who now requires more full time care than can be provided at home with family and care/support. This difficult time, together with our mother's increased health care needs has been made more manageable due to the highly professional and sensitive care and consideration provided by all the staff at the Sheraton and support care services. Accommodation is of the highest quality and I recommend the service without hesitation.

I am more than satisfied at the standard of care that my mother receives at this care home. This is not an over statement, the staff our outstanding, I cannot praise them enough. Compared to my mothers last home, she receives constant interaction, even when the staff are busy at work, she laughs a lot and is very happy. This home is run extremely professionally and the staff are to be congratulated for providing an excellent service throughout.

Lothian House Care Home Spennymoor, Durham

Each resident has their own bedroom and en suite bathroom. The dining room has tables for eight and comfortable chairs. The residents are not hurried they are encouraged to spend as long as they wish over their meals. There is a choice of meals.

Cairnie Lodge Care Centre Arbroath, Angus
Posted: 6 hours ago by Kathleen S (Wife)
As the wife of a resident in this care home I have cause to visit regularly and I'm always assured of a warm welcome. I always find my husband to be clean and well cared for and he never offers me any complaints. He is very fond of the staff particularly the activities lady as she organises the bus trips, and he praises the cook as he says the food is great. My honest opinion is that this is a very good home.

I go to see my husband three times a week so therefore I can see the care he is given. The staff are very pleasant, he enjoys the meals and he is kept clean, a nice room, above all that he has nursing care. So I am very content with the way my husband is looked after.

Greenways Court Consett, Durham
Posted: 6 hours ago by Edna C (Friend)
I have visited on average every other day at different times for the last 4 months. I have always been met with pleasant helpful staff and have taken particular notice of the superb care given to my friend. Her room is always clean, warm and tidy and washing returned quickly. Home made food is beautifully displayed and served and finger food served with tongs. I feel so relieved that at last she is safe and well cared for, both medically and personally (with dignity) and have no hesitation in recommending this care home.
