Acorn House is one of three residential facilities from Medicrest Ltd, a service twinned with the nearby Acorn Lodge and dedicated to answering the care provision needs of up to thirty-one residents.

The aim of the home's skilled care team is to achieve high standards of care, using efficient techniques, while maintaining a good living environment and sense of independence for those involved.

The staff at Acorn House arrange musical entertainers for our residents who wish to get involved as well as many outings to various places of interest.

Good proportion of staff to residents. Always very welcoming and friendly. I felt they provided a rounded level of care even in demanding situations with dementia residents. Plenty of activities organised throughout each month and regular news letters to relatives. Rooms, communal areas always kept clean set in large plot with 2 homes adjoining access to garden where BBQ and other events sometimes held.

Acorn House provided care for my elderly father who resided in the home in his 101st year. Both I and my family were most impressed with all aspects of the care provided by Acorn House and I am pleased to recommend them.
