Alexandra Road is a ten-bedded residential Care Home for young adults with learning disabilties, epilepsy, autism, Down’s syndrome and challenging behaviour. A comfortable home for ten people, male and female from the ages of 21 to 64. The decor and furnishing of the Home are chosen by the service users to encourage them to have freedom of choice within their environment and to empower them at all times. The Home runs on a high ratio of staff to ensure that all of the residents needs are met, ensuring that the safety and dignity of the residents is maintained at all times. A large communal lounge and dining area allows the residents to enjoy meals together as part of a family and to relax, watch TV, chat or play games.
