It has a secluded garden and patio where residents can enjoy barbecues in the summer. residents are encouraged to decorate their rooms to their own personal taste. All cultural and ethnic groups are welcome and every aspect of their varying needs can be met within the Home. The Home has adopted John O’Briens Five Accomplishments and its framework for the delivery of person centred care, allowing individuals to make real choices in their own lives. All individual residents are encouraged and assisted where necessary to attend ordinary colleges within the community gaining access to computer courses and other meaningful activities.
