Driscoll House provides care for residents with mental health problems and contains six single rooms and one double room, two of which have en-suite facilities. There is a spacious lounge with TV, dining room, kitchen and laundry room, all with a high standard of specification for individuals recovering from mental health problems. The property is a semi-detached house, with light spacious rooms, where residents are able to choose the colour scheme for their own rooms, where their opinions on the furniture is given consideration and where they can have their personal items. The Home is staffed 24-hours a day, 7 days a week with a skilled mix of qualified counsellors, with the skills to listen, support and offer guidance. Activities include residents attending resource centres, workshops and college. In-house activities include games, music, cooking, gardening, personal image as well as visits to the cinema, museums and beach.
