Montclair is a small family home type environment where staff can retain an individual's identity. The home offers 24 hour care for 15 individuals with dementia. One of these places is respite. Montclair also offers 3 day care places which are completely flexible. The home was established in 1988 by the previous owners and is a large Tudor Style house situated in Banstead Road, Banstead. Carers cater to meet high needs as dementia progresses at no additional cost.
The owner says: "I have owned the home since early 2006. As the owner/ manager I have total commitment to improving dementia care. I am currently completing a Masters in Dementia Studies and my next charity event to support the Alzheimer's Society is in February 2013. Please see our website for a link to support this worthwhile cause."
