Roseneath Avenue care home provides quality care for twelve adults with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. The Home offers three self contained apartments consisting of a four bedroom ground floor apartment with wheelchair access, a four bedroom first floor apartment and a second floor four bedroom apartment. Offering a warm and homely environment with opportunities for residents to extend and enhance the quality of their day-to-day living. Each of the three four bedroom apartments has its’ own fitted kitchen, lounge/dining room, bathrooms and WC’s. There is a secluded garden at the rear of the property, which offers a relaxing atmosphere and a quiet retreat. Roseneath promotes Craegmoors’ communication strategy called “Your Voice” which ensures that each individual, based on their preferred method of communication, is able to have a voice on how their supported care is provided. The residents enjoy swimming, horse riding, bowling, trips to cinema, outings to pubs, shopping. College courses are available and include music, art, communication, speech, cooking, relaxation, arts and crafts, dancing or gardening. |
