Review of Spring Lane, London by Marilyn Catterill (Friend of Resident)
Friday 29 June 2012
Spring Lane in Muswell Hill has been a really good experience for both me and my friend who has been a resident since April 2011. She remarked, after about a month when she had settled down, that she wished she had made the move years ago - she is now 102 and they are looking after her every need and, to my eyes, give her the care and attention she requires in her old age. Although my friend is now unable to take part in many of the activities these are well run, stimulating and topical. The activities include exercises, both for the brain and body, art, flower arranging, poetry appreciation, history, quizzes, etc. There is a variety of religious services which I believe cater for all religions (although not entirely sure on this point). The Management are open to suggestions for improving the service and the staff are all very pleasant and seem to be very well trained. In the year or so my friend has been a resident I have had no reason for complaint - indeed I can highly recommend this lovely home for anyone who needs to find a place for a loved one who is in need of care, stimulation and understanding.
