The White House care home provides quality care based on respect for the residents, their right to make choices, maintain dignity and receive the best care to suit individual needs. The home offers accommodation for 6 adults with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. Tastefully decorated throughout with individual décor in each bedroom to meet the requirements and needs of each individual resident. The residents are encouraged to personalise their own space. The care is delivered by a dedicated and professional multi-disciplinary team committed to providing quality care focused on the needs of the residents. Monthly service user meetings are held where individuals are able to represent the views and voices of fellow service users. The residents enjoy dance and music sessions, swimming, horse riding, bowling, trips to the cinema, holidays, boomerang sessions, day trips, arts and crafts. Life skills development programmes are also put in place. |
