It's not big so it's small and friendly. You can always get plenty of attention from the carers. The carers are always able to help you as soon as you need it. The carers are lovely and all so helpful. It is a lovely place which really feels like home.

Staff are very helpful and kind. The view that surrounds the care home is lovely. I like the fact that I am encouraged to stay in contact with my friends and can go out. The food is lovely and the fact we get to have a say about what our menus are, is great. I like the fact I am encouraged to be as independent as possible as well as having the help I need.

Review of The Paddocks, Dunstable, Bedfordshire by Patricia Bicker (Daughter of Resident)

Thursday 10 May 2012

The Paddocks is a small very personal care home where the staff always make you feel that you have made the right decision in leaving Dad in their care. The one to one care they give to Dad especially when he is having a bad day shows what a fantastic place the Paddocks is. Dad always looks clean tidy and eats very well with a full and varied diet. His bedroom together with the other communal rooms are well maintained. All the staff are very friendly and make you feel that this is as much as Dad's home as it is a care home. Since being in the Paddocks the whole family feel very relaxed and happy that Dad is in the best place.

Review of The Paddocks, Dunstable, Bedfordshire by Richard B (Son of Resident)

Friday 13 April 2012

The Paddocks provides excellent individual care to residents. A small personal house that is very much an individual 'home from home'. I always feel as if I'm visiting my mother at home. The staff and all residents are always very welcoming. The 'one to one' care is first class and the staff always have time to sit and chat if a resident needs individual care. The rural surroundings are very pleasant at the foot of the Chiltern Hills.

Review of The Paddocks, Dunstable, Bedfordshire by Mark R (Son of Resident)

The staff are all 100% in there work i.e. caring for residents, making sure everbody is comfortable, clean, very personal with residents. Warm approach to residents family and friends and the fact I myself do not have to worry about my mother, knowing the staff sort everything out.
