The family are really pleased with my brothers progress, since Alka agree to give him a place at Ambelside. His medication has been reduced to what he actually needs to function well, before he was like a Zombie, whilst at another home. My mother and I live in South Wales, so our visits are infrequent, however we are always given a warm welcome and a mug of tea from Alka and her staff.

I am extremely pleased with the care shown to my son in this home. He has settled in very well and is very happy now. My son tells me he is eating well. I would highly recommend Ambelside for wonderful care, cleanliness and the love I feel when I visit.

Myself and my mum are very happy with the care and support my dad has received since being in Ambleside. (October 2014) Staff are always helpful and easy to talk too, my dad has made so many improvements since being a resident :-)

My brother Robert was looked after so well at the Ambleside, the staff were all very caring and he was always so happy when he visited and he was kept very clean. My brother was in care for 26 years and the last year of his life at Ambleside was spent in a very pleasant and warm environment many thanks to all the staff.

My mother went to Ambleside for a respite 2 week care, 23 May 2014 to 5 June 2014. I only wish she could have stayed longer, my mum was safe, and cared for with kindness by Alka and her hard working staff. My mum has dementure and diabetes, this was controlled by healthy, freshly cooked meals. Mum always looked clean and happy, made friends with other residents, I will always recommend Ambleside to everyone.
