The town of Frinton is a quiet, exclusive and discerning seaside resort. The main street is tree-lined Connaught Avenue, which has been dubbed the Bond Street of East Anglia because of the haute couture fashion, wines and fine food available. There are several good restaurants and coffee shops. The town is ideal for walks along the coast in one of the UK's drier areas. Frinton is also known for its magnificent seafront, greensward and sandy beach. The town also offers a library, as well as fine coastal walks, fishing, sailing or the chance to enjoy a round of golf, play cricket, cycle or ride a horse along the bridleways and lanes circling the town.
