I looked at Bradbury House and new this was the home where I wanted to live and am so happy now after being here for 3 months. A excellent home from home everything is wonderful. Food, manager, staff, my room and all the activities. I am not lonely any more.

Excellent individual health and personal kindness and love. Atmosphere lovely. Excellent activities, have been ice skating for the first time in my life at 91 years old. Excellent birthday celebration, very special to every resident. Very good wholesome food.

My father has been in Bradbury house for the last six moths and has been welcomed into the home in a warm and welcoming manner. The care he has received has been outstanding in every way and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Bradbury house may not have the grounds and facilities of some of the other homes but more than compensates with their care and understanding.

Bradbury House provides every bit of care and love any family could ask for, all staff take their time to get to know each resident individually and express constant love and care for all residents. It was always a joy to visit my nan in the home and I know that the entire family appreciate all the care that was given to my nan during her stay at Bradbury. As a family we received so much support when my nan passed away and are so grateful for the home as it gave my nan all the care she needed and more.

Bradbury House feels like home for residents, family and visitors from the moment you step in the door. The staff are truly amazing, going the 'extra mile' in every respect of residents care. The comprehensive and varied activity programme, including regular outings contributes to the well being and community spirit amongst the residents. All meals, snack and beverages are catered for on an individual basis and are of a high quality. Above all, residents are treated with consideration and respect whilst maintaining the happy family atmosphere.

We moved my mother from another home 10 years ago after a number of near death experiences due to lack of care. The fact she has survived 10 years and is brighter and stronger is down to Niki and Karen and staff. She owes her life to them.

This is an older style property, therefore they do not have the luxury of modern facilities with regard to large rooms and all ensuite bathrooms. However the attention to care and personal consideration of each resident is paramount and therefore leads to the well being and respect of its vulnerable residents. Its not how large the care home is, it is the quality of care within it.

1. All the staff are fully trained in care home etiquette. 2. Friendly with good sense of humour but not at resident's expense. 3. Very good selection of entertainment to keep residents amused and happy. 4. Trips out are excellent. 5. Very good choice of food and presentation. 6. Management and staff work extremely hard to make this a very special care home.

My grandmother lived at Bradbury House for 6 1/2 years, recently died of 'old age' aged 100. Also my mother has been a resident since February 2012, her condition much improved with the care she receives. It is a very happy home, run by dedicated staff who go out of their way to care for their residents. Best care home in Braintree.

I am convinced that my mother would not be alive now if she had been anywhere else. Her quality of life is very good and she is loved by care staff. Relatives are welcomed and the dignity of all the residents is consistently high within the ethos of the home.

My mother resident of 9 years at Bradbury House, recently passed away, received excellent care and endless kindness throughout all her time at Bradbury House. So grateful that Bradbury House offered end of life care and that my mother died in a place she was happy and at home! Staff so kind, many including the manager attended her funeral.

My grandmother was a resident at Bradbury House for 6 years, she died in June 2012 at Bradbury House. The care, love and dignity shown to my grandmother and myself (plus all her relatives) went beyond outstanding; absolutely nothing was ever too much trouble. My mother is also a resident here. She has improved so much with the love and care received by all the staff. This is a lovely place, what makes it so special is the fact that it is a place where you feel part of one big happy family. I highly recommend Bradbury House.

I am extremely well looked after, nothing is too much trouble for the staff. I am very happy here, I feel part of a big family. We have lots of fun with activities, parties and outings. The food is amazing, really outstanding. The staff are very friendly, happy and cheerful all the time.

Bradbury House is a care home in the true sense of the word. The staff are terrific and work their socks off caring for residents. I visit my Mother-in-law six times a week and I've never heard a word of complaint. Bradbury House is a lovely friendly care home. The best.

My father has been a resident of bradbury House for only a couple of months, but has been welcomed into the home warmly. The staff are very enthusiastic and take care to include him in all the various activities and trips out to local places of interest. It is comforting to know that he is being cared for 24/7 by dedicated, friendly staff.

Home is so welcoming, lovely atmosphere when you walk in with warm greetings from staff who are so helpful and very caring and attentive to all the residents. Home smells of flowers and home cooking. Just lovely!
