Bradbury House

A small intimate, friendly & exceptionally caring home. The staff are like extended family to all the residents and their families. Nothing is too much trouble, everyone is treated with care & respect and there is an air of all the residents being loved for who they are. The food is excellent and all types of dietary requirements are catered for without any fuss. Cleanliness of the home & all the residents laundry is excellent. Activities are frequent & varied. Bradbury House has a new hairdressing salon and there are regular visits from a Chiropodist, optician & the clergy. I have complete peace of mind that my Mother has the best of care.

Since my mother in law has been at Bradbury I have been very happy with the love and care given to her. Very welcoming home to all relatives. The home has been very welcoming to mother in law's dog coming to visit as she misses her a lot. The staff go out of their way to make my mother in law feel part of a family.

Bradbury House

Bradbury House benefits from its small size. Much personal attention is possible. The staff are, on the whole excellent. There are some small disadvantages due to the age of the building, but these are easily outweighed by the plus points. Special mention must be made of Mrs Karen Thompson (asst.mgr) who is outstanding is every way. The homes position in the town renders it of easy access to visitors, parking of cars is limited, but the proximity of Tesco's store helps.

Description:

As Manager of Bradbury House, Jolene leads her professional staff team in delivering the highest level of residential care for up to 21 residents.

Jolene has worked in elderly care for the past seven years, in which time she has gained experience in supporting people living with dementia. She has also held a Compliance Auditing role, in which she was responsible for ensuring high quality care was being delivered across the care home group.
