My mother has been a resident at Hatfield Haven for 1 1/2 years and has been treated with the highest level of care and made to feel loved at home and with people who really understand her needs and difficulties. Mum suffers with Alzheimer's but whilst remaining very away of her surroundings, requires high levels of assurance as she is lost in 'time and space' and her spacial awareness and disorientation are severely effected. Mum moved into Hatfield Haven with extreme levels of anxiety but with the help and attention from the staff is now very settles and enjoys her day to day life amongst a close knit group of friends.
