All the staff were welcoming and friendly all the time and always helpful. We have seen them whilst out shopping since mum died and they came over for a chat, which was really very nice.

I cannot recommend Crowstone Nursing Home highly enough. The kindness and care they have shown my aunt is wonderful. My aunt is badly disabled and is unable to feed or care for herself. Even though she does not speak to us they are always cheerful round her and talk to her.

After care in the community, it was decided that my mother needed 24 hour care. Crowstone House provided all the care, regular meals, cleanliness and stimulation for mums quality of life, given by dedicated staff. They show patience, care and a varied diet over 24 hours, sometimes in very difficult situations. Recent redecoration and new furnishings, flooring and carpeting has added a fresh openness through all the personal and communal rooms. We as a family received so much support and frankness throughout my mums residence there. We were able to visit at any time and questions we asked were dealt with openly. We are so grateful to all involved at Crowstone House.

I am well satisfied with Jeans care. The rooms are clean, also all round the home is clean. The staff are very friendly as is the management. I would recommend the home to anyone that is looking for a care home.

My cousin is in Katherine House and is very happy. I inspected numerous homes and found Crowstone to be a home from home plus being in such a perfect location looking out over the estuary. My husband was happy and improving in physical health with care, good food and mental stimulation.

Very pleased with the overall care. Rooms comfortable and kept clean and tidy. Safe environment which is reassuring to the family. Lounges recently refurbished and more comfortable as a result. Staff friendly and give confidence in their ability to care for residents. Food I am told is also good, an important plus!

From day one when my dad moved in all the staff and management showed love and attention. Spending lots of time visiting my dad in the home I saw at first hand the hard work both staff and management put in. They all became good friends, which continues to this day. Crowstone Care Home I would always recommend.

I found the administration staff very professional and caring during assessment. They made my mother who is Polish very welcome and even had a Polish carer allocated to her. Her room was spotless and was well furnished with an en-suite. She could not wish for a better carer, in fact I have not seen my mother looking so happy for years. The rest of the staff that we met seemed very happy in their work, which gave the place a homely feeling. So far the food has been excellent and I see no reason why it should not remain so. I would certainly recommend Crowstone House to anyone who is looking for a good rest home.
