My aunt has lived at Elmsdie for several years and from the beginning. I have been impressed by the service she receives; her room is clean and tidy. The staff are charming and attentive, and my aunt is extremely happy there. My father lived for a while in a home in Cambridge (not run by MHA) and it smelled of wee, he was left in his room with the TV on and he hated the TV. None of the staff knew his name and the food was dreadful. Elmside is such a contrast - homes need not be ghastly. Elmside is a shining example of how elderly care can be caring.
