The staff are always caring. They do treat the residents with sensitivity. The staff always greet visitors well. The home is kept clean and the residents are presentable.

We looked at many homes for dad but none were suitable, they were more like prisons than a residential home! Queens is a happy place, full of caring people. My dad's room could do with a coat of paint but dad loves his room. He is treated always with respect and dignity whilst always having a laugh and joke with him, which is very important as dad is a jokey person.
He plays bingo and cards they love film nights, residents are always given the choice and they like their popcorn, ice-cream and not forgetting a beer or a glass of wine. Dad has been fitted with a pace-maker whilst in their care, if they are not happy dad is checked by a doctor. Dad is happy and we are to!

My mum was in a 'sorry state' when she was moved into Queensway, it was a difficult time for both of us. The staff assessed her needs and she was quickly taken care of and she quickly got the physical care she needed and the staff gave her her meds. The staff have taken the time to get to know mum and I trust them completely, they call me as soon as anything needs discussing. I don't now worry about mum ever. Mum is always well fed and happy. I can visit at any time, the staff know me and chat to me, they are always pleased to see me and update me about mum.

The staff are very kind and caring. The activities are excellent, there is always something to do. There is plenty to eat and drink with snacks available at all times. A very friendly, warm home where people are cared for as individuals.

My dad has been at this home for about 4 years and at each and every visit (I don't get there as often as I would like living in Norfolk) I am greeted with happy staff. Always ready to help and direct me to where my dad is- they always seem to know. Something I find amazing is they know who I am, as I said I don't get there that often. This all goes to make a lovely environment for which my dad is very happy to live.

My recommendation goes to the brilliant entertainment team at Queensway House they do everything possible to help the residents. They put on different activities and have days out with residents. They play bingo, cards, knitting, painting and party nights a few times a year. They work really hard
