Review of Woodside, Luton, Bedfordshire by Jill S (Friend of ex Resident)

Monday 2 July 2012

Resident lived in home for 4 years, last year needed more and more care and nursing care in last 4 months of life. The carers in the home were fantastic not only to the residents but also to us, as friends. They cared for every eventuality. I just cannot praise them enough for making an old lady feel special in the last months of her life.

Review of Woodside, Luton, Bedfordshire by Gary B (Grandson of Resident)

Friday 29 June 2012

Woodside is set in a quiet village with countryside views all round. The residents are more like a large family and are cared for at a very high level. Both management and the care workers look after the residents extremely well. As visitors we are always welcomed and kept informed. I would highly recommend this care home to anyone wanting an elderly person to be cared for properly and in a caring environment. Personally I can think of no negatives towards the home. It's great to visit, a place where everyone is happy and so chatty, residents and workers alike.

Review of Woodside, Luton, Bedfordshire by Edith Butler (Daughter-in-law of resident)

Wednesday 20 June 2012

My mother-in-law wasn't too happy about going into a home luckily we found woodside and she is very happy there, her husband had died 10 years before (they lived in West Sussex) all her friends gradually died. Now she has friends all day. Lovely carers to look after her. She had a very good day on her 94th birthday, with decorations etc at the beginning of June. All in all it is a lovely place to visit and see her so happy with no worries.
