The Bungalow has been specifically established to support adults with mild to moderate learning difficulties within a small home environment. The Home is an unusually large three bedroom ’colt’ style bungalow set in half an acre of mature gardens that back onto a stream adjacent to woods. Staff are dedicated to providing a safe and homely environment that encourages personal development. Offering individuals a range of professional skills in art, craftwork and technology, home science and education. Activities are reviewed and updated every month taking into account the changing needs of the individuals. Typically they include college courses, use of local resource centres, holidays and frequent visits to places of interest both locally and further afield.
