The Cedars care home is registered for 12 adults with learning disabilities and physical disabilities. Folkestone offers many and varied opportunities and facilities associated with a large progressive town, allowing the residents of The Cedars to participate fully in daily Citizenship. Staffing levels depend on the needs of individuals to support them in their lives. Full assessments are made prior to any placement, with a 3 month probationary period for all new residents to ensure they are happy with their placement and that the residents who already reside there are happy. There are a superb variety of restaurants and pubs in the area, and various good hotels and bed & breakfast facilities, should families and friends wish to stay over.
