The Cherries Care Home offers homely accommodation for six adults with learning disabilities. The Home boasts a large lounge area, dining room, kitchen, utility room and a tranquil, secluded garden which offers a relaxing atmosphere and a quiet retreat. A key philosophy is that the residents maintain as much independence as possible and through the support and care can achieve their full potential in life. A high ratio of staffing ensures a highly supportive framework of care in which the residents can achieve their potential within a safe environment with dignity and respect. The residents enjoy swimming, horse riding, bowling, trips to the cinema, outings to pubs and shopping. College courses are available and include music, communication, cooking, relaxation, arts & crafts, dancing or gardening. |
