Marshlands is a spacious Edwardian period building providing care for adults with learning difficulties. Offering its residents the opportunity to focus their attention on developing new skills in a carefully managed environment. The property is surrounded by both woodland and open grazing land. From the front of the property, there are unobstructed views across Walland Marsh towards the Cinque Port of Rye. A structured program of care based upon full assessments, of strengths, needs and history is developed for each resident. Each resident is encouraged to express and exercise their rights in all aspects of their lives. Central to the Home’s philosophy is the development of the individual and furthering that development within the wider community. The Home benefits from it’s own self-contained flat, providing for a resident, the first steps towards supported living. |
