St Heliers is an elegant Licensed Retirement Hotel formed from two large mid-Victorian houses located in the West End of Folkestone, close to the Leas. It is the ideal choice for long-term retirement respite care or short breaks. We encourage all our residents to lead independent lifestyles, maintain interests and develop new skills whilst being aware that discreet care and support is always available if required. The hotel has a friendly, relaxed, yet professional atmosphere. Two majestic staircases and a lift give access to the large graceful Victorian rooms. There are two lounges, one overlooking Clifton Gardens, the other close to the Bar and Dining Room. Off the Dining Room there is a patio for residents' use during fine weather. The Hotel enjoys direct access into large private gardens, with beautiful mature trees and shrubs. The gardens are used during the summer by residents and their guests. The Hotel provides attractive accommodation with 30 bedrooms many having sea views and half also overlooking the private large garden. Most rooms are ensuite, all have Call point and wash basin. Long-term residents can bring as much of their own furniture and as many of their belongings as will fit into their room. |
