Kingston cares for adults with learning difficulties and special needs. The Home is situated in the popular seaside town of Margate and is only a short walk from the train station, high street, restaurant and seafront. On the ground and second floors there are single and double rooms, all with wash basins and individually decorated according to the residents wishes. Kingston House is a Home full of vibrant colour and diversity, and due to the residents restricted abilities there are different opportunities to express themselves mainly by art, in which they enjoy and participate, to the best of their abilities. The Home provides 24-hour care with staff on call as required. Each resident has a personal care plan with on-going aims and objectives. Many in-house activities are offered such as sensory, music, cooking, craft, swimming and games. Residents are also invited to have reflexology once or twice a week from the visiting qualified therapist.
