The Willows Care Home provides 24-hour support and care for adults with learning disabilities. The Home is a detached house in a popular residential street in Hythe, less than five minutes walk from the beach. Staff support and encourage residents to be as involved in the day-to-day running of the Home as they wish or feel able to, such as preparing meals, processing their own laundry, gardening or housework. Residents have an individual care package, specifically planned to reflect their personal needs and choices. A key worker is assigned to each resident ensuring a holistic approach to individual care and daily fulfilment. Residents enjoy swimming, horse riding, bowling, trips to cinema, outings to pubs, shopping and the residents are encouraged to identify such activities in residents meetings and individually. |
