Seabourne House is a Care Home for adults with learning difficulties and mild challenging bahaviour. The Home promotes and supports four residents, enabling them to socialise in a safe and positive manner and assisting them to integrate within their community. The House is of a reasonable size and the lawn of the garden encompasses two sides of the building. All residents are encouraged to express their opinions in residents meetings, which are held monthly. The staff team work hard to promote independence and personal choice whenever possible, ensuring that the residents thoughts and feelings are valued. The residents spend a large amount of time out of the house, either at the day care facility, or accessing their local community. Other activities that take place are bowling, cinema trips, riding and swimming. All residents are supported when in the community. |
