General Description

Horsell Lodge is an attractive Victorian property, formerly a private family residence, which has been sympathetically converted into a care home whilst retaining a wealth of period features reflecting its’ Victorian Heritage.

Accommodation at Horsell Lodge is laid out over 3 floors although the majority is on the ground and first floor. There is a passenger lift linking all floors making all parts of the home accessible.

On the ground floor there are a number of day rooms providing attractive communal accommodation. There is a small cosy day room with views across the gardens for residents who prefer quiet contemplation, whilst for those wishing to be more involved in the daily hustle and bustle a large day room or conservatory are available. There is also a large dining room for those who enjoy social interaction during mealtimes, whilst for those who prefer privacy meals can be taken in their private bedroom.

On the first floor there are a number of well-appointed single and companion en-suite rooms, all of which enjoy views over the gardens that surround the property.

Horsell Lodge is the ideal venue for older people on both a short or long-term care basis. The home has an excellent reputation within the local community resulting in strong links with local clubs, churches and amenities.

We have a dedicated activities co-ordinator who supports residents in maintaining their hobbies and learning new ones through our weekly activities programme which is organised in consultation with our residents. Activities are aimed at providing a stimulating environment thus helping each individual in our care achieve a good quality of life.

If you are looking for a quality assured care home for yourself, a friend or a relative please contact our home manager Kate Gilbert for further details or to arrange a viewing of this reputable care home.
