The Normanhurst Annex is a separate building on the Normanhurst site and is adjacent to the Nursing Home and Residential Hotel, which is on the seafront. The site is close to local shops, amenities and rail links.

The Normanhurst Annex is a registered EMI care home and is for those people who may be confused, suffering from memory loss, are mentally frail with Alzheimer or dementia. There is a small homely lounge with television, separate dining room and a secure decked patio overlooking the private gardens. Guests are encouraged to make use of the outside space and can be escorted by the staff if leaving the secure areas.
