Bridgewater House comprises two separate homes - namely Willow Mead and Oak View.

Willow Mead provides care for 8 adults who have a learning disability, autism, epilespy and complex needs.

Oak View provides care to 4 adults who have a learning disability and a severe physical disability.

Accommodation is offered in bedrooms with full ensuite baths, showers or wet rooms, with Oak View having a full Parker Bath facility in addition. Both residences have a well-equipped sensory room and large separate gardens. Day care is provided on-site where appropriate.

There is a large wheelchair accessible park that is within walking distance of Bridgewater house. The park has tennis courts, duck ponds and large grounds for picnics. The beach is also within easy reach of the house. Other facilities include a local swimming pool, bowling centre, a local cinema and several restaurants and pubs. Shopping centres are within easy reach as are local newsagents and smaller shops.

There is a gardening project set up for people with learning disabilities to plant, grow, and maintain their own vegetables and plants along with preparing the grounds for each season.

The college offers a project that offers different courses such as music and rhythm, creative dance, art and design, drama and musical theatre, cooking, photography and much more, locally. Courses are based on the ability of the service user to ensure that they get the most out of it. The nearby town of Hastings also offer courses for people with learning disabilities. Other day service opportunities include trampolining, cookery classes, arts and crafts, hydrotherapy and much more.

Located nearby is a local Community Learning Disability Team that offer a consultant psychiatrist, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, behaviour management and nursing input.
