Autumn Lodge is one of the few remaining small private residential care homes in the area. The Home is long established, having a stable and well trained staff and management Team which provides consistency and quality of care, often lost in the large establishments. The Home is well located with easy parking. All rooms are ensuite, decorated and furnished to a high standard; there has been continual investment into the home to improve and update it and this is reflected in the ambience and appearance of the surroundings. Activities play an important role in the home and there is a strong community spirit amongst the residents.

There is a pleasant garden to the rear of the property with a conservatory where Internet access with specialist software for residents to use is freely available.

My grandmother went to Autumn Lodge for respite she was nervous but had such a lovely time. She said when the time came she would be happy to live there all the time.

I was delighted with the care my dad received. The Staff, under Nicky's management, could not have been kinder or more efficient. He was always warm, comfortable, well fed and entertained. But most of all, he was loved and cared for.

My mother-in-law has been a resident at Autumn Lodge for about 3 years. During that time her condition has deteriorated. I feel that the home and it's staff care for her and the other residents in an excellent way and that the home is worthy of recommendation.

I wholeheartedly recommend Autumn Lodge. My mother has been there now for three years and at 97 years of age. Obviously her health has deteriorated yet the care has always been good enough to cope with this. I am so thankful that I chose Autumn Lodge!

Mother was very well cared for at Autumn Lodge and spoke very highly of all the staff. The Home was very sociable and the activities were superb. She especially enjoyed the food.! They Home also represented very good value for money. There was alwasy a welcoming and plesant atmosphere and nothing was too much trouble.
