Mum has actually seemed more mentally alert since moving into The Grange, she also seems to be remembering things better. The Care Plan that was immediately put in place to for her is very thorough. All the staff are very caring and friendly. We are made to feel very welcome every time we visit and given tea etc (in lovely china!) Mum always looks smart,clean and cared for. She is encouraged to form suitable friendships. We are able to visit anytime and take her out if we want to.

I have been so impressed by the care given by all the staff at The New Grange, and just before Christmas Friday 21st, the deputy manager Emma Harris checked the blood pressure of my wife Joan and immediately called a doctor in and also arranged for her to go into hospital which could not have been easy at Christmas time. My wife is now back in the care home having recovered from pneumonia. I thank you very much Emma and The New Grange.

The standard of care in the last few months, the care home has been improved so much i.e there is more for the residents to do, more entertainment. Also exercises some mornings for those who want to get involved. Later there are more plans for easier access to the garden. All in all things are improving in the home.

My mother has been at New Grange for nearly 2 years and I was immediately impressed with the cheerful and comfortable environment. I have noticed over the period a continual maintenance and upgrading of the property. My mother has stabilised and is very happy in her surroundings now. The staff are amazing.

A caring staff who tolerate with skill any disturbing behaviour by dementia patients. Staff recognise and greet visitors, always knowing where the resident is. Individual treatment, depending on needs e.g time for breakfast, place for serving food.

I wanted people to know how I felt about the home. My mother has now been in The New Grange Home since May 2011 and she has never been so well cared for. She is just so happy and always looks clean and happy. The staff are wonderful and I can't praise them enough. Well done to all of them!

Having looked at many care homes as my wife needed to go in one of them, I was immediately impressed by all the facilities at The New Grange Care Home. My wife's room was completely redecorated and new carpets plus a new TV before she moved in. The staff are really good and seem to go out of their way to help everyone. It certainly gives me peace of mind to know my wife is being looked after.

I highly recommend this care home. The manager is very caring, understanding, treats the residents with dignity and respect which they all deserve. The staff are very highly trained and professional and lastly I find this care home convenient to my work place, which takes the burden off me, knowing he is well looked after.

I would recommend this care home because the staff are very friendly and helpful. It is very clean and tidy and they have a very good selection of food. Also the residents are treated as people and well looked after. There are comfortable lounges for them to relax in. There is a doctors surgery, a good hairdressing salon and a lovely garden for sitting in.

Very caring, clean. The manager and staff are amazing with the residents and also with visitors. The new manager now has more activities in place. The owners are making the home more homely with all the improvements that are going on.

Very friendly staff, with a low turnover of staff, senior carers and care staff have been there since mum became a resident 18 months ago. This helps enormously with continuity of care and feedback when I visit.
