During the time my step-dad spent at the Star Care Home, he could not have been looked after better. We found the attention he received was second to none. Unfortunately, we lost our step-dad a couple of weeks ago, but rest in the knowledge he was cared for right to the end. Thank you to all the lovely staff, too many to mention. If anybody needs any help with choosing a care home for a family member or friend, needing nursing care, I would recommend the Star, without hesitation. You do a great job, and have brilliant staff. A+

I would like to recommend the above home for the way they have looked after my sister and my brother Arthur who has just passed away. This care home goes above and beyond it's expectations. On the day of my brothers funeral, all the carers who attended in their own time, and the way they looked after Mary on the day. We could not have coped without their help. I would recommend this home to everyone.

Immediately you walk into The Star Home you get a sense of friendliness and caring. The home itself is spotlessly clean. The food is prepared and cooked on the premises and every day there is a wide choice on offer to the residents. All the staff right up to the manager are very caring and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. My mother is 100 years old and I can leave her there without worringing that she will be cared for.
