Grays Fair Court Respite Centre, Norwich is the only dedicated specialist respite centre in Norfolk.
With this unique specialism it can accept advance bookings as well as taking emergency bookings. This is unlike other homes offering respite who generally cannot accept advance bookings.
The respite service offers short breaks in hotel style accommodation with 24 hour care provided by qualified care staff.
The staff are able to provide service users with the opportunity to rest or recuperate following an accident or illness or have a break away from home. The service also offers support to individuals who care for relatives or friends by helping them to plan for holidays or a break away.
Situated in New Costessey near Norwich, this Age UK Norfolk Support Centre was constructed in 2008. The complex contains a respite unit with 20 bedrooms, a day service and 34 flats offering housing with support and care.
All services are staffed and managed by Age UK Norfolk and the building is owned by Saffron Housing Trust.

Grays Fair Court - Respite centre is conveniently located in New Costessey, Norwich which is just off the A47, close to the Bowthorpe roundabout.
This truly unique centre allows you to socialise, energise and revitalise in the caring and professional company of Age UK Norfolk staff. A charity who understands the needs of people in later life; additional volunteer staff create a level of care unmatched by commercial organisations.
Relatives and friends are encouraged to visit at any time and as often as they wish, but are asked to sign the visitor's book in the centre. Well-behaved pets may visit by arrangement. Visitors to the centre can make drinks in the respite lounge.
To appreciate all that is offered, you are welcome to arrange an informal visit by appointment with the Manager.
Visitor parking is available at the front of Grays fair Court. Blue badge parking is also available.
