Kingswood, Bristol BS15 9QB
2a Court Road provides round the clock support for 15 residents with learning disabilities, in three self-contained houses. There is also a communal space which features an activity room and snoezelen room. The snoezelen room is a quiet, calm space where an aromatherapist comes to work with people.
The home boasts a stable staff team, some of whom have been working at 2a Court Road since it opened. Every staff member has statutory training and most have undergone further training, on topics such as autism, positive behaviour support and person centred planning.
Staff create Essential Lifestyle Plans for each resident, which look at what they require on a daily basis, and encourage people to make independent choices.
