Review of Puddavine Court

A very caring home
Our mother has now had to move from Puddavine as her dementia has progressed to a level that now requires full nursing care, however, I would like to commend and thank the staff, in particular the manager, of Puddavine for their wonderful and patient care of our mother whilst she was a resident. Nothing was too much bother, the care and interaction not only for and with our mother but of also my sister and I was so personal and transparent. The home is spacious, calm and the rooms are of a very good quality. The food is varied and plentiful and the staff are always on hand to help and answer questions and visitors are welcome at any time.

Review of Puddavine Court

A lovely Victorian manor house in beautiful settings. Residents are encouraged to made their rooms their own. They are able to have their own furniture and furnishings. They are able to get up and go to bed when they want to and can have meals in their rooms if they wish. Relatives are able to visit at any time and always made to feel welcome, even having their own kitchen. There are various lounges, a reminiscence room and even a skype room! Plus a shop selling sweets and toiletries. Relatives may bring their pets in to visit and there is even a residents cat called Smudge.

Review of Puddavine Court

On a visit from the United States to see my mother, I found all the staff to be helpful and caring. The facilities are well appointed, clean and tidy. Most importantly my mother is happy here at Puddavine. I can go home reassured that my mother is in good hands. Trisha, the Manager, is a pleasure to work with, especially since our relationship is long distance mostly. Thanks to all.

Review of Puddavine Court

My mother has received excellent care at Puddavine these past 16 months. There is a lovely atmosphere and the staff are attentive and caring. The home is bright and cheerful and residents are well cared for and encouraged to participate in a variety of activities. We couldn't be happier knowing how happy my mother is there - she says so every time we go. Meals are excellent - couldn't be nicer.

Review of Puddavine Court

The staff are considerate (as example I am always offered a cup of coffee soon as I arrive to see my friend who is a resident). However I have really no idea whether it is good value for money. The only criticism voiced by my friend is that she didn't like the pattern of the carpet!

It has been such a relief to see mum cared for. She was getting in a state on her own, now she is never lonely. There is such a lovely feeling of kindness, care, consideration and patience here, and there is a good mix of quiet time and activities during the day.
