Ivers College provides the opportunity for young adults with learning difficulties to gain life skills through an enabling and experimental approach. It is a small specialist centre for training and educating people whose learning requires small groups and often individual tuition. Nationally recognised, accredited courses can be followed. Students are enabled to achieve their full potential and take more responsibility for their own lives and future living placements. These could be Further Education, Employment, Individual/Supported Living, or Long Term Care. Ivers College develops the potential of each student by offering a wide range of programmes through a twenty-four hour curriculum combing : Life Skills Literacy and Numeracy Accredited Training Social Skills Access to Further Specialist Education/Training Care and Support A wide range of Leisure Opportunities |
