Review of Evergreens, Bournemouth, Dorset by Maureen Rolfe (Daughter of resident)

After 16 years of caring for my father the inevitable happened, having to find a placement for him. I wanted somewhere Dad would be treated with care, dignity and understanding. After visiting several different types of homes, I found Evergreens, it ticked all the boxes. All the staff greet you with a smile regardless of what their day has been like. The staff keep you updated on the events of the day. On countless occasions I have seen the carers, cleaners and gardener stop and listen to any concerns the clients/relatives have, putting their minds' at rest, a wonderful sight to see - keep it up! Nothing is too much trouble.

Review of Evergreens, Bournemouth, Dorset by Patricia N (Daughter of resident)

My mother aged 96 years did not want to leave her home and fought the move from day one. The home carers were patient and friendly even admiring her stubborn streak and now she is bedridden and frail and they do everything for her. We do not expect her to live much longer, but she realises now how good ever body is to her and like myself is very grateful for the good treatment she receives. She is now 98 years old and her children all old age pensioners. We could not have coped without the help we've received.

The care team and manager who look after my father are kind, helpful, understanding as well as being attentive and efficient. They are friendly and patient to everyone. Evergreens has a warm, cosy, homely atmosphere which you can feel as soon as you step inside. There is a beautiful sunlit lounge/conservatory which opens onto the garden where there are tables and chairs and parasols, and an attractive pond which houses some beautiful carp. I would definitely recommend Evergreens!

Review of Evergreens, Bournemouth, Dorset by Christine de Arles Pearless (Niece of late Resident)

During the 2 1/2 years my aunt was at Evergreens she had exemplary care. The management and staff are all wonderful, caring and experienced without exception. The food was delicious and varied. The standard of cleanliness was very high and constant thought was being given on how to engage the residents in stimulating activities. The standard of the rooms and shared areas was like that in a first class hotel. I cannot praise the home enough and would give it my utmost recommendation. I am glad my aunt was able to spend her last years there.
