Both my parents are resident at Kingland House Nursing and Residential Home. We have been uniformly impressed with the high levels of care and kindness evident. The staff are professional, attentive and friendly. Residents are offered good choices and encouraged to maintain their independence. Activities are regularly offered. The atmosphere of the home is welcoming and friendly. It is also accessible and we come to visit when we want to. We feel that my parents are cared for as well as we would want them to be.

My cousin, who was totally immobile, was provided with a light airy room with pleasant outdoor views. All staff including those in reception knew her name and her likes and dislikes. She was treated with great respect and every attempt was made to ensure that she was comfortable. The food was very well presented with the additional provision of mid-morning and afternoon snacks, and supper.
Although my cousin was not robust enough to visit the communal rooms every effort was made to ensure that she had an opportunity to chat. A variety of staff took time to visit her room to engage her in general conversation. The nursing was excellent and there was always a genuine concern for her comfort and well-being. At key moments in her stay I was always well briefed on the situation. In conclusion I was always confident that my cousin was receiving the best of care and attention and I have nothing but praise for the home.
