Forest House provides care for adults with learning disabilities, some of whom present challenging behaviour. The House has been redesigned to accommodate eight bedrooms over three floors. All bedrooms are single occupancy and residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms including decor and furnishings according to their abilities. Staff are dedicated, with ongoing training to provide a safe and secure environment to enable residents to achieve their own identity and gain access to resources, facilities and services available in the community. In-house activities include cooking, personal grooming, listening to music, videos, walks in the local community, swimming, pub visits, trips to the seaside, zoo and other places of interest. |
