Wellington and Longforth House

Wellington House is a 33 bed specialist dementia care home for the people over 65 who do not need nursing care. We pride ourselves in the excellent care we give to our residents, backed up by extensive staff training and development programs. Bedrooms are bright and airy with their own en-suite facilities, the lounges and dining rooms offer choice and different outlooks over the extensive gardens and courtyards. All the amenities of Wellington are within a short walk and we have our own minibus for outings.

Longforth House is a 10 bed home, self contained but attached to Wellington House. Here we offer a similar service but specialising in caring for younger people with early onset dementia or similar illnesses. Each of the large rooms has wireless internet, telephone point, Freeview TV and a wet room. The emphasis here is ensuring that everyone stays as active and independent as possible.
