Westerley is located in Minehead and has views of the beautiful Quantock Hills from the front of the property and North Hill from the side and rear. The sea is within a 10 minute walk.

There are good transport links within the town with Taunton Railway Station making other towns and villages in the West Country accessible.

Residents are encouraged to pursue and enjoy their own hobbies and interests both within the home and in the local community. Since the Homes are Christian Homes, residents are encouraged to share in daily family prayers, where possible, but this is not obligatory. These devotions are held each weekday in the mornings and Holy Communion is celebrated monthly.

Each room is fitted with a call bell system and most rooms are equipped to recognised standards for disabled residents. Residents may have their own telephones fitted in their rooms and all rooms are equipped with a TV aerial socket. Most rooms are single with en-suite facilities.

On the ground floor there is a large comfortable lounge with a large screen TV, a baby grand piano, and deep windows overlooking the garden. The lounge is equipped with a loop system to assist the hard of hearing. Also available is a reading room/library, a small quiet lounge and a spacious dining room.

Westerley has an extensive prize-winning garden, with opportunity for relaxation and lawn games etc. The summer house is a much used facility during the warmer months. The Home is situated on level ground, which is ideal for elderly people.

There is a large garage and adequate car parking facilities. The home can provide a buggy to aid some residents to reach the town centre if they find it a little beyond easy walking distance.
