Review of Hillcrest House, Bath, Wiltshire by Caroline Derrick (Daughter of resident)
Tuesday 3 July 2012
The staff at Hillcrest are very caring and treated my mother like a member of their family. They are friendly and always welcome visitors with tea or coffee and biscuits served in teapots and cups and saucers on a tray. The accomodation is clean and comfortable, decorated to a very high standard. Residents are kept clean and I never noticed the smell often associated with care homes. There are staff who try to engage residents in activities such as painting, board games and indoor boules. It's cheap, but my mother always seemed content there, which was about the best I could wish for.
