Review of Milford Manor on Wednesday 7 December 2011 by Ann A (Daughter of resident)
Absolutely lovely staff and environment - we couldn't have chosen better for our mother. She has Alzheimer's and had been asked to leave her previous home as they couldn't cater for her increasing dementia. We were so worried that the move would be devastating for her. Milford Manor was the perfect and very lucky choice. Mum has settled better than we ever hoped or thought possible, due largely to the wonderfully high quality of care, commitment, sense of humour and sense of responsibility that all the staff have for the residents. Our sense of relief and gratitude to everybody here is huge. If we had known that Mum would be living here, it would have taken away so much of the dreadful worry that a family goes through when a family member is living with dementia. For us there could have been no better outcome.
