Westbury Lodge care home provides care and support for adults, all of whom have mild to moderate learning difficulties, including sensory loss and some behaviour that is regarded as challenging. Situated on the outskirts of Westbury, close to local amenities with the county town of Trowbridge, a short train ride away. Each resident is encouraged to express an interest in the decor of their communal environment, having a more informed choice regarding the decoration of their bedroom through choice of colour and furniture. The dedicated team of staff, including support workers, a maintenence person and cleaner, ensure there is an all round provision of comfort, good food and professional 24-hour care in a relaxed and personalised environment. Individuals are supported by their key workers to overcome emotional and personal issues to enable them to make informed decisions, thereby building self-esteem and independence. |
