My mother has been a resident at Holmpark for 6 years in which time her condition, vascular dementia, has deteriorated, but her care at Holmpark has been of the highest calibre. Nobody could fault the care, compassion and empathy displayed by every member of staff. One example; my mother suffered a seizure and was taken to the hospital, a member of staff always goes with her and waits until I can get to her. This last occasion I was 4 hours drive away and a carer went to relieve the person who had gone to the hospital, AFTER her shift had finished, waited until I arrived so mam wouldn't be alone.
