Beechfield, a sister Home occupies the first floor. The home is convenient for local amenities including, GP surgery, dentist and post office. There is a regular local bus route into Town and other local areas. The Grove is registered along with Beechfield for 12 adults with Learning Disabilities/ Physical disabilities/ Mental disorder by the Commission for Social Care Inspection. The Grove offers support for adults with multi diagnosis, primarily acquired brain injury with some associated mobility impairment. Staff at the Grove have a range of professional qualifications and also undergo courses in counselling, clinical training, diploma in management studies and NVQ 4 in care. Staff also receive extensive internal training supplemented by relevant external courses. Residents have individual care plans, and this are regularly monitored and updated. Clients have regular access to Tracscare Clinical Support Nurse, plus specialist input in the areas of speech therapy, drama therapy, psychiatry, psychology on an individual needs basis. |
