Business and institutions that do provide excellent dementia care for the elderly deserve to have their efforts publicly recognised and recommended. These standards must become the baseline in providing ever-improving standards of care.

Review of Florence House, Newcastle, Staffordshire by Lisa W (Grandaughter or resident)
Friday 5 April 2013
I was worried when my nan was classed as needing to go into a care home. I visited quite a few and Florence House was the only one I warmed to. I was still a bit concerned as she was so dependent on me but nan was taken poorly, wasn't able to go home and luckily there was still a place at Florence House. Nan is looking better than ever now, the staff are welcoming to me and my family and nan seems to be settled there as well as she can be with dementia. I am much calmer and happier knowing that my nan is being cared for well.
