Wilford House

Our Dad has been a resident in Wilford House, Stafford for 4 years now. The care and support that he gets is excellent. All the staff including management are really friendly and very understanding to our Dad and also to myself and my sister. The rooms and food are excellent. I would certainly recommend Wilford House to anyone looking for a care home. It is certainly home from home in Stafford.

I am very impressed with Wilford House. Everything about it is second to none - the staff are excellent. Maureen - the nurse in charge is so efficient as is her second in charge Shirley. Very impresses with the staff also who have a very good rapport with my father. Excellent cook - food is very important to the residents, and my father loves it! Cleanliness everything is extremely good - no complaints at all. I would highly recommend this care home.

Wilford House

Mother has been a resident since August having been hospitalised with pneumonia in April 2015. She needs 24 hrs residential care and having visited Wilford House in July we decided that it would be ideal for her needs. The home is bright, light and wonderfully clean, the rooms are well-equipped and residents are encouraged to bring things from home to "make the room their own". The level of care from all the staff is high. There is a good atmosphere and there is always someone to discuss mother's needs. All her needs are catered for and she is always treated with respect and elderly person is deserving.

Wilford House provides excellent care in a small, friendly and homely environment. Facilities are good but not pristine and staff are attentive at all times. I left instantly comfortable on my first visit and content to place my Dad in their care.

This home goes beyond the call of duty with matron and her team not only caring for the residents but supporting families as well. They openly show love and consideration to residents. All staff treat the residents with respect, never assuming, always asking and then as far as possible carrying out residents wishes. I have no concerns about my mothers care and if a hotel, Wilford House would get a 5* award.
