Mar Lodge is a Victorian, detached house built in 1896, offering quality residential care to seven adults with learning disabilities. All bedrooms are single occupancy and other rooms include a large lounge, a dining room, kitchen and laundry room. The comfortable, warm and safe environment aims to provide a feeling of security and homliness enhancing the quality of life. Care staff are committed to delivering a high standard of care within a friendly, homely environment designed to promote independence whilst maintaining the individual’s privacy, dignity and quality of life. Each resident is given the opportunity to exercise their choice and become involved in a wide range of activities outside of the Home, including accessing local day centres, colleges and work placements within the community.
