The Lodge Trust has a caring approach to the delivery of personal and nursing care to people with learning difficulties.
Their mission is to support people with learning disabilities in a Christian context and all staff at its properties are focused on this.
Providing accommodation, whether in residential care or in independent living, is a major part of its work. Accommodation comes in the form of houses and supported living flats for service users.
Work and training opportunities for residents include catering (in Country Cafe and within kitchen and dining areas); craft and woodwork (making a range of products available in cafe and elsewhere); horticulture (within the grounds); laundry and cleaning; customer service (in Country Park Cafe).
The gardens and grounds are set in its 20 acre site.
Staff work closely with each other to ensure that facilities are welcoming and comfortable, as well as being up-to-date and in compliance with all relevant legislation.
